arkose is an acid jazz duo out of atlanta — multi-instrumentalists tad adams and noah sills, known for what they call their diamond-cut sound. jazz, house, r&b, hip hop, soul and rock, folded into something that doesn't sound like anyone else. the two met in high school band in powder springs, found common ground somewhere between miles davis and mf doom, and have been building on it ever since. they hold down a weekly jazz jam residency at smith's olde bar and have worked with musiq soulchild, jai'len josey, swavay, ben reilly, chase shakur, kennedy ryon and eddie 9v. expect horns, guitar, and a room that moves.
